Nick's journey wasn't a long one but it was a truly special one. Nick was a wonderful young man who was on a journey towards helping others when he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in 2017. He battled through chemotherapy, underwent a stem cell transplant from his sister and went into remission until 2020 when the cancer came back in both his blood and his spinal fluid. Nick fought bravely and maintained a strong and positive attitude in his final months. He started a blog so others could understand his perspective on his life and his diagnosis. It is our goal to make sure that the WAVES he made, "ripple into something amazing." We could not be more proud of our son, love our son or miss our son more than we do.
Our goal is to maintain a scholarship fund to give back to the community. Nick's education was very important to him and we hope that we can honor his memory for years to come.
Nick graduated from Belchertown High School in 2011, Western New England University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, University of Michigan

We focus on making waves in our community that will hopefully ripple into something amazing. We strive to do this by providing financial support for the benefit of education, scientific research and charitable activities. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us effect change.
We hope that you will join us in our mission. With your generous support we can all make WAVES!
